Revisiting old works

With the Nantwich exhibition approaching I've been looking through my old paintings and trying to sort out the good and the bad. The painting of Lissie and Esther I completed in university had a lot of potential, and its the execution which let's it down. The foot was never finished and the hands are mushy. Moreover, as I rolled it up a few years back and broke down the stretcher, there are now small and not so small cracks going up it. With the new stretcher I also found that the dimensions are slight smaller and the foot looks squashed and stunted.
